4. TruXedo B-Light Battery Powered Truck Bed Light
Anytime I can get more use out of my truck's bed, I call that a win. I find the Truxedo B-Light extremely useful on those early morning fishing trips and late nights after the game when I need to get into my cargo. The B-Light is easy to install and easy to use. Press the button once to turn it on, twice to turn it off, and it automatically shuts off after 5 minutes to save battery (which is great when my kids leave it on). Worth every penny.
5. AMP Research Bedstep
If you truly use your truck as a truck, and transport items daily, you will soon grow weary of crawling in and out of the bed. This is why one of the first purchases for my Dodge was the AMP BedStep. This retractable bed step cut the distance from the ground to my tailgate in half and has made it so much easier to step in and out to access tools or materials. I no longer have to worry about carrying around a step ladder and forgetting it at the hardware store after loading my truck, and I never have to worry about painfully crawling into the bed again. My knees thank me for this upgrade.
6. Pop & Lock Gate Defender
So you purchased a new truck and all you can think about is what you are going to buy for it next. The very first accessory should be the Pop & Lock Gate Defender. Every year manufacturers put more and more technology into trucks and various parts? including tailgates?are stolen every day! I speak from personal experience.
Recently, I left work to go home and when I got home, as I was walking back up to the house after getting the email, I realized my tailgate had been stolen from my truck. The price of tailgates ranges from $1,000 to $6,000 (depending on the year, make and model). Spending $40 on a Gate Defender will save you time, money, and the hassle of dealing with the insurance company.
